Dhaalu Atoll is located in the southern part of the Maldives. It lies approximately 150 km southwest of the capital Malé and can be reached from Malé by air. The atoll covers an area of around 700 square kilometres and consists of 56 islands, only nine of which are inhabited. The best time to visit Dhaalu Atoll in the Maldives is generally from January to April, when the weather is usually drier and sunnier. During this period, the likelihood of heavy rainfall and storms is also lower.

The months from May to December are wetter and can occasionally bring stronger winds and rainfall. However, if occasional rain showers are not a problem and you prefer a quieter travel period, accommodation and activities may sometimes be available at lower prices during these months.

The Maldives is nevertheless a year-round destination, and Dhaalu Atoll can also be visited outside the traditionally recommended travel period. The best time ultimately depends on your personal preferences and the activities you are planning.
